In this segment from our September 2026 Posit Platform Updates webinar, Senior Product Manager Kelly O’Briant walks through a demo of selected features from the July and September releases of Posit Connect. The featured demo is trusted publishing with GitHub Actions, which lets you deploy to Connect without storing an API key. Instead of keeping a long-lived key as a secret, the pipeline does a token exchange with Connect itself. Also covered: -Draft deployments: A GitHub Actions workflow that deploys your content to Connect as a draft rather than a bundle that gets immediately activated -Clearer audit trails: deployments trace back to the pipeline and source author instead of one person’s API key -Bundle viewer: a read-only file inspector for content bundles accessible from the Settings pane -Content rebuilds: trigger a full content rebuild for interactive content right from the UI -September release items (now available): the new Notification Center and the global role permission editor Trusted publishing is enabled by default starting with the July release and is available for Enhanced and Advanced Posit Connect licenses.
